Bev Booth
I
started at The Training Team after having a break from working to bring
up my family. During the last 9 years I have experienced firsthand the
difficulties of building a successful business whilst bringing up a
family.
The business has grown from its original foundations in Essex and now works with clients around the UK and internationally. The Training Team has grown to become a specialised training and consulting group who undertake and deliver business development and training contracts for clients. The business draws its staff from the business arena to ensure they all have real life experience of training and its benefits within an organisation.
The Training Team has vast experience in the design development and delivery of bespoke ILM training courses and programmes. It has a dedicated ILM development team who works closely with their clients to combine specific specialist industry knowledge with the most effective learning interventions to produce training courses that maximise the financial, time and human investment being made.
Because I am dedicated and driven to become a successful woman entrepreneur, I have a true desire to help other women overcome the difficulties they encounter on the road to realizing their dreams of entrepreneurship and business success.
Time and time again, I found myself offering help to other entrepreneurs in a number of ways, from setting up their Outlook to giving them advice with their website. I am a helper and a giver by nature.
Over the last 3 years I have been responsible for managing The Training
Team’s key projects; - which includes managing the East of England
Regional funding initiative, through the Learning & Skills Council
UK.
In 2004 I was invited to sit on the Panel for Investors in People UK, which require me to review and assess a companies’ capability to reach the National benchmark standard. This experience puts me right at the forefront of best practice and ensures that our consultative work uses best practice applications and assessment criteria.
Added to this is the key role in achieving the companies Quality initiatives, which include Investors in People, ILM Accreditation as well as Occupational Health and Safety standards.
I currently live in Hockley, Essex and I am happily married to my wonderfully supportive husband, Steve. I have two children which are aged 16 & 18, two dogs and an elderly cat. Outside of building and developing The Training Team, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking the dogs and socialising with my friends
