Anna Heim
My
journey as an entrepreneur has been an evolutionary process; someone
once said that "as I develop myself, all else follows"
this has certainly been the case in my journey. I am eccentric, eclectic,
and dyslexic. I am a deeply spiritual person, my spirituality provides
me with a solid principles and unshakable moral base which is applied
to both my personal and professional activities.
My entrepreneurial career started out in the field of music and entertainment, as a 19-year old and fresh out of technical college where I studied for a HND in Concert Show Production, with a specialism in Lighting Design. By my early 20's I had relocated from Australia which is where I was born to the UK. In 1985 I returned to my studies (non-certificated BSc in Micro-Electronic Engineering & Computer Science) which led me to become an employee of IBM UK Ltd, and during the next 5-years I worked as a Systems Network Consultant for a number of companies.
In 1990, my career took the first of many side-steps and I found myself in a teaching post, working with the long-term unemployed and with young people with behavioural and learning difficulties.
From 1991 to the present I once again have engaged with my clients as a freelance consultant; with offerening a full range of 'Trouble Shooting and Problem Resolution' services in the main. My skills and specialism's continue to develop, evolve and expanded. When I look back to my humble beginnings, my achievements to date, both personally and professionally and where I am now, I reflect and consider myself to have been blessed. My network of colleagues, client and friends is vibrant, extensive, eclectic, and international.
